Supernatural fans can rest easy - Jared Padalecki is planning on filming for season 11.
Known for portraying Sam Winchester, the Padalecki recently took some time off from Supernatural's summer convention route due to personal reasons. The actor has apparently been wearing himself thin between filming, running the Always Keep Fighting campaign, and attending cons around the world, but that does not mean he is about to throw in the towel as the CW drama enters its 11th season.
"Dear #JIBCON and #AHBL6. I am in desperate and urgent need of my family. I am so sorry to tell you this but I must head home," Padalecki tweeted in mid-May. "I need all of the love I can get right now. Please please give me a few seconds of your time and write me. #AlwaysKeepFighting."
Padalecki's manager then followed up with a statement, confirming that the actor is recovering from exhaustion with his family in Austin and has every intention of returning to Vancouver when filming resumes this summer.
"Jared has pushed himself to his limits and is suffering from exhaustion. His SPN family is so important to him, and he asks that they Always Keep Fighting. At this time he needs to be home with his family," the statement read, according to E! Online. "He's doing better already and is excited about shooting Supernatural Season 11 this July. For now he's taking a break, but is so appreciative of his fans, and sees and feels their love and support."
While the cast rests up ahead of filming, fans can get an inside look at next season with a video from executive producer Jeremy Carver (see video below).
Supernatural airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
