Maroon 5 rocker Adam Levine just opened up on the success that got him to be the man he is today.

Adam Levine Performs For His Wife On Stage

On Tuesday, The National posted an interview with Levine who's been married to supermodel Behati Prinsloo for almost a year. When it comes to weddings, Maroon 5 crashed a few of them for the music video to the hit "Sugar." But the rocker wanted to point something out about this so everyone knows how it really happened.

"I do want to clear up something about the video," he said. "Half of the weddings we crashed and the other half were set up, we did that to cover our bases and to make sure we had all the footage. I would say 65 percent of the video was real. It was crazy and a lot of fun."

Maroon 5 is currently one of the most popular bands in the music industry with other hits like "One More Night," "She Will Be Loved" and their latest jam "This Summer's Gonna Hurt." Levine admitted that he was thinking ahead when he first started, but he had no idea how far they would make it.

"I was very cocky and I was too confident when I was young that we would be successful, but where we are now is so far beyond what I thought would happen that I am very humbled by that," Levine said. "I am still constantly in shock. I am 36-years-old and our first album came out when I was 22; to have that much success over this long in this business is astounding."
