Nintendo's popular multiplayer shooter Splatoon is getting its third free DLC weapon tonight.

Street Fighter 5 Details And Trailer Released 

First revealed on their Live From Squid Research Lab tumblr blog, the Splash-o-matic is the latest new weapon, the third in as many weeks.

"Its shots don’t spread much, and it has excellent rapid-fire capability," they revealed on the blog. "It could be said to be a bit lacking in attack power, but zero in on a target and they’ll burst in no time flat. Plus, this bad boy comes equipped with Suction Bombs as a sub weapon, and Bomb Rush as a special weapon."

Nintendo eShop And Virtual Console Update This Week 

Last week Nintendo released the Inkbrush, which works much like the Paint Roller - a melee weapon that colors the ground in front of you. It's not a very strong weapon but it comes with Sprinklers and Inkstrikes and has proven popular with gamers.

A week before Splatoon owners were gifted with the N-Zap '85, a shooter weapon that looked just like the NES Zapper from Duck Hunt. It's a weak weapon but it has a very high fire rate and range to make up for its lack of power.

The Splash-o-matic will be available to download tonight at 7:00 p.m. PT, so keep an eye out before diving into any matches.

We're still waiting on more details for the massive Splatoon update set for release in August, and will perhaps find out more details at next week's E3.
