We knew that Heidi Klum was rich, but we didn't know that her pockets were this deep. The German-born supermodel is apparently eyeing her own private island in Connecticut. Klum will have to pay a whopping $11 million if she wants to call it home.
According to the New York Post on Wednesday, Klum is looking to purchase Tavern Island off the coast of Connecticut, which boasts three-and-a-half acres and a spectacular view of the New York City skyline. The island includes a six-bedroom home built in 1900 and comes with a guesthouse, boat house, pool and a private beach.
Meanwhile, there has been a rumor floating around that Klum might be hooking up with her America's Got Talent co-star Nick Cannon. What's more, Mariah Carey's ex-husband has allegedly wasted no time in letting the celebrity mother-of-four know that he's definitely got his eye on her.
"Nick hits on Heidi every chance he gets," an insider told Life & Style Magazine last week. "He's always telling her she's gorgeous and what a great mom and businesswoman she is."
And apparently Klum is loving the attention too, even though she's been dating art collector Vito Schnabel for over a year now.
"[Heidi] eats it all up. She can't stop herself from flirting either," the mag reports.
