Movie star Angelina Jolie is continuing to use her fame for honorable opportunities.

Why Did A Firetruck Rush To Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie's Home?

On Sunday, Us Weekly posted photos of the actress with her nine-year-old daughter, Shiloh, as they made their way to Turkey for World Refugee Day on June 20th. Jolie used her humanitarian efforts to proclaim her concern while visiting the Refugee Camp. In her speech, she discussed how people are having their human rights taken away from them.

"We are here for a simple reason," the actress said. "This region is at the epicenter of a global crisis. Nearly 60 million people are displaced from their homes. That is one in every 122 people on our planet. Our world has never been richer or more advanced. Yet never before have so many people been dispossessed and stripped of their basic human rights.

"We should call this what it is: not just a 'refugee crisis,' but a crisis of global security and governance, that is manifesting itself in the worst refugee crisis ever recorded- and a time of mass displacement," she added.

"People are running out of places to run to," the film icon said in her speech. "If you are an Iraqi or a Syrian fleeing violence, where do you go? Every border country is being pushed beyond its limits."

Jolie is married to actor Brad Pitt. They have six adopted and biological children together: Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, 9, and twins, Knox and Vivienne, 6.
