TV Guide just came out with its "Dream Ballot for Supporting Actor in a Drama Series" for the Emmys, and Matt Czuchry of The Good Wife is on it.

Will Alicia Finally Divorce Peter In Season 7?

The Good Wife is on to its seventh season and Czuchry hasn't received even one award nomination for his role as Cary in the legal dama. The TV Guide report brings this egregious omission to our notice. The actor has had his good days and bad days on the show, but this last season he really delivered a trememendous performance as Cary was put in sticky situations and also had to deal with Kalinda's (Archie Panjabi) exit. Cary was always on edge as his a new investigation related to his previous trial threatened Kalinda's life, and could also put Cary behind bars again.

The actor has also been very known for a certain degree of restraint that in his performances, which serve to make his character stoic.

Elsbeth Set To Return In Season 7?

Moving forward in season 7, there has been talk of Cary and Alicia (Julianna Margulies) being at loggerheads as she takes off to start her own firm with Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox).

Czuchry addressed this issue speaking to E! Online, and while he did not give away any meaty spoilers, he did suggest that the changing dynamic would play an important role in the next chapter. "I think what could be interesting is if they're on opposite sides, but they're in a different place in terms of their connection," Czuchry said. "They are friends and I think there's a mutual respect there, so if they are against each other but have that friendship at the same time, those gray areas, to be able to play that, would be interesting."
