The creators of Game of Thrones and Kit Harrington have all been adamant that Jon Snow's shocking death in the show's fifth season finale was the absolute final word on his character's existence on the show, but Emilia Clarke may have accidentally just revealed that he will in fact be back after all.

In an interview with MTV's Josh Horowitz, Clarke talked about the shocking finale revealing that she didn't know that the episode was going to end with Snow becoming a victim of mutiny when his fellow brothers of the Night's Watch turned on him and stabbed him repeatedly--but also revealed that she has her own theories about what it means for next year.

Clarke admitted she wasn't told of how things were going to play out in advance because the show's creators, David Benioff and Dan Weiss, know she's not very good at stepping around the truth--meaning she had to be kept in the dark so there wouldn't be much of a risk that the story would get out. In addition, she is also not entirely sure what direction that means they're taking for the upcoming season either.

"They know that I can't lie very well," she said. "I can with all honesty say I have no idea what's happening, I have no idea what's going to happen."

However, like several fans who noticed Melisandre's perfectly timed arrival at Castle Black moments before Snow's fate, Clarke noted that it probably meant it wasn't the official end of the character on the show--though she still maintained she doesn't have exact answers.

"I really don't know," she said. "I mean if I had to bet, I would say it's a 50/50 chance [that he's really dead]. I mean there's some helpful people there who could bring him back to life."
