Inspired by the comic book series, Secret Warriors will bring a new influx of superheroes to Agents of SHIELD for season 3.

"In the aftermath of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s battle with Jiaying and the Inhumans, Director Coulson (Clark Gregg) will search the world for more powered people and assemble an extraordinary new team to deal with threats unlike the world has ever seen," the ABC series teased on Friday.

Coulson placed Skye (Chloe Bennet) in charge of the new initiative, code named Caterpillar, as season 2 came to an end, and it appears that the duo will launch the project in earnest this fall. Now that the Inhumans are scattered to the four corners, it will be harder than ever to track the formerly cloistered sect.

Unfortunately, SHIELD wont be the only interested party. Someone else will have an eye out for miraculous powers, an it's probably safe to say their intentions wont be as noble as Coulson's.
