On Sunday the 2015 BET Awards went down in Los Angeles at the Microsoft Theater and two of the event's guests were exes Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran.

The pair have gone through a lot of rough patches together in their constant on-and-off again relationship, which for now remains off.

Earlier this month the two actually took their issues with each other on social media, which is something they tend to do quite frequently.

Brown was up for quite a few awards at the ceremony and he actually walked away with three.

Hollywood Life reported on Tuesday that during one of his acceptance speeches he said a subtle diss to his latest ex.

A source close to the 26-year-old pointed out that Brown "made it a point to say, 'To know me is to love me. If you ain't with us, so what,' and that was directed at Karrueche."

"He doesn't care about her anymore. He's investing his time into those who love him and care about him and get him," the source added.

Tran apparently was not keen on seeing her ex at the event. One of her gal pals pointed out where Brown was sitting and Tran bit back with some harsh feelings.

"She was walking back to her spot with a few other people. One of her girlfriends said, 'You know Chris is down there,'" the source shared, adding, "Karrueche literally said, 'You can sit me at the top [of the arena] because I don't want to see his a--.'"

It sounds like these exes need to work on being civil toward each other in public.
