Are 'Teen Mom 2' Couple Kailyn Lowry & Javi Marroquin Headed For Divorce?

In addition to Lowry telling a friend she and Marroquin were on the "brink of divorce," she and her husband were seen in a heated moment during the show. In a new speak peek, shared on Tuesday, their tense moment was revealed.

“I planned this whole day for you, and now you're in a bad mood and you're not gonna enjoy it," Marroquin is seen venting to Lowry, according to Wetpaint Entertainment. "So then I'm not gonna enjoy it. Are you not gonna have a good time? So what's the point in going?”

“I told you to take me home,” Lowry responds.

Then, after Lowry tells Marroquin she didn't want to hang out with him in the first place, he fires back.

“Wow, you're an a--hole” he tells her, hitting a barrier in the road.

On Tuesday, Lowry updated fans on her marriage to Marroquin during an interview with Wetpaint Entertainment.

“I think a lot of it has to do with our maturity," Lowry explained. "We obviously were not being the most mature when we were throwing around the word ‘divorce,’ and I feel like at the time we were just trying to hurt each other, more than we were actually considering divorce. We did consider it, but at the end of the day, we worked out all of our problems.”

Teen Mom 2 season six debuts on July 9 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
