In a new inside look clip for the next episode, titled 'Heart of the Matter,' of Beauty and the Beast, Kristin Kreuk reveals that Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Catherine will be really struggling with their relationship.

Jay Ryan Teases 'Twist' In Upcoming Episode Of Beauty and the Beast  

The couple are seen fighting about a particular case, that Catherine is very passionate about, and Vincent would rather keep away from. Catherine is seen interrogating a frail old man in a wheelchair at a party, and Vincent asks her to back off owing to the man's delicate medical condition. In the episode Catherine suspects the old man, who is also very rich, is responsible for organ stealing to keep himself alive.

"Someone's murdered in a very mysterious way and so she thinks it indicates an experiment," Kreuk says. She adds that Vincent "doesn't think so."

One Of The Main Characters To Die In Season 3?  

The actress goes on to delve into how things will go down between the duo in the next episode.

"Vincent and Catherine have always had a slight tendency to bicker from time to time," she says. "They've been struggling because she wants to find out who is behind all of these experiments and he wants to live a normal life, and so they get to a point where they decide that they're going to get help."

Some more footage from the episode shows the couple with a marriage counselor, played by Saul Rubinek.

Here's the synopsis for the episode:

"Cat (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent (Jay Ryan) take their relationship to a couples counselor (Saul Rubinek) when Cat dives into her work and suspects a wealthy transplant recipient of being involved with the mysterious experiments on innocent people in the city."

The episode will air on July 2 on The CW.
