Camp Firewood will officially be back open for business again in just a few weeks, now that Netflix has released the first trailer for their upcoming prequel series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp.

The series, premiering July 31, is set to be a prequel of the cult classic 2001 movie, and features nearly everyone from the original film reprising their roles, with the addition of a few other key additions that are sure to turn up the levels of debauchery that helped to catapult the first film into the cult classic status it has received.

Instead of flashing back to the last day of camp as the counselors attempt to finish all of their unfinished business, the series will tackle things as they all first approach such a status--as teenagers.

Returning cast members include Janeane Garofolo as Beth, David Hyde Pierce as Henry Newman, Michael Showalter as Gerald 'Coup' Cooperberg, Marguerite Moreau as Katie, Michael Ian Black as McKinley, Zak Orth as J.J., Paul Rudd as Andy, Christopher Meloni as Gene, Molly Shannon as Gail Von Kleinenstein, Ken Marino as Victor Kulak, Joe Lo Truglio as Neil, Amy Poehler as Susie, Bradley Cooper as Ben, Elizabeth Banks as Lindsay, Judah Friedlander as Ron Von Kleinenstein and H. John Benjamin as Mitch.

Joining the cast for the prequel series are other star-studded names, including Jason Schwartzman, Kristen Wiig, Jordan Peele, Josh Charles, Chris Pine, 'Weird Al' Yankovic, Lake Bell and Jon Hamm.
