It's been well over 10 years since Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were together, but apparently fans are looking for the ex-couple to rekindle their love for what I'm sure the gossip blogs are going to call an epic "Bennaisance." There's a new report that suggests one of the reasons why Affleck and his soon-to-be ex-wife Jennifer Garner have pulled the plug on their marriage is because the actor has been getting flirtatious with Lopez.

According to The Sun, Affleck and Lopez - who dated for 18 months before calling off their engagement in January 2004 - have been in regular contact since reconnecting at the Oscars this year.

A source told the site, "Everyone is talking about J.Lo and Ben saying it's inevitable they will get together at some point. They were pretty flirty at the Oscars and have stayed in touch via email. Jennifer Garner never liked it."

According to E! News back in February Affleck and Lopez couldn't help but lock eyes if only momentarily during the ceremony.

The report said, "After Laura Poitras's Citizenfour won the award for Best Documentary Feature, Affleck walked over to Lopez, who was seated in the front row. According to ABC News, Affleck whispered something into Lopez's ear, and she playfully smacked his arm. After reuniting with Lopez, Affleck moved down the aisle and whispered something in Best Actor nominee Bradley Cooper's ear. The American Sniper star didn't slap Affleck, however."

However, another source says there is absolutely no truth to the rumors.
