Apparently there's a good reason why LeAnn Rimes has been doing so many concerts around the country lately - she's reportedly trying to pay off her debts! There's a new report that suggests the former country star and her husband Eddie Cibrian owe their friends $350,000, of which they haven't paid back since 2012.

According to Star Magazine on Wednesday, the cash-strapped pair borrowed the money three years ago because they thought Rimes' album Spitfire, would help pay that money back. Unfortunately, the album failed to climb the charts at the time.

The report says that the couple wanted to purchase a home in Hidden Hills, California and asked their friends, The Fradins, to help them out with their down payment.

"They scraped together $550,000 in cash, but the remaining down payment was provided by their pals," which the source says these pals, Dave and Lizzie Fradin, might quickly see was a "recipe for a disaster."

Sources close to the couple are saying that even though Rimes was worth millions of dollars when the couple first got together several years ago, they've easily burned through $20 million since. It also hasn't helped that Cibrian hasn't had a stable job in Hollywood for some time as well.

So far, the couple has not made any comments about the report.
