The recently revealed preview for the upcoming episode of Beauty and the Beast reveals that Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) will have to move apart for a bit.

One Of The Main Characters To Die In Season 3?   

In the clip for the episode, titled Most Dangerous Beast, as Vincent states that they need to go their seperate ways, Catherine is seen getting worried. This does not mean the couple is breaking up, it is more for the purposes of a case in which Vincent needs to go out into the field by himself. Catherine's concern is rooted in the fact that she might not be there to hold him back if he went primal. Later on in the video, Vincent is actually seen breaking out into his beast form, and Tess (Nina Lissandro) is seen closing in on some threat with her crew of cops, alert with their guns in trigger mode.

Judging by the synopsis for the episode it seems like the couple's new mentors Bob (Alan Van Sprang) and Carol (Natasha Henstridge) will have something to with this brief separation.

New Villainous Beasts To Create Menace In Season 3  

Here's the synopsis of the next episode.

"Cat is assigned to a new partner; and comes to suspect that Bob and Carol are working to separate her from Vincent. In other events, JT learns that his newfound healing ability comes with a high price."

The next episode will be released on July 9 on The CW.
