Jenelle Evans confused fans during an interview with Us Weekly earlier this week.

Jenelle Evans & Barbara Feud On 'Teen Mom 2' Season Six

While the interview made it seem that the Teen Mom 2 star had essentially put regaining custody of Jace on the back burner in lieu of focusing on school, Evans took to Twitter on Friday, setting the record straight in regard to her plans for her son.

"You are all taking this the wrong way, lol," Evans wrote. "The custody battle has been going on now for 3-4 months. Funny they fail to report my next court date with her is next month.. So yeah I'm going to focus on my schooling and graduation this month and deal with the custody battle that like I said is currently in effect."

Has Jenelle Evans Put Regaining Custody Of Jace On The Back Burner?

Evans' mother, Barbara, has had custody of Jace just shortly after his birth.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Evans explained her schooling was her number one priority at the moment.

“I’m so busy with school and my externship," Evans said. "I’m trying to tell my mom, my lawyer, and everyone, I’m like, ‘Look, I know Jace is important right now, but, you know, my graduation is coming up in July.’ So I mean, that is just, it’s the no. 1 priority right now.”
