Roman said she wasn’t necessarily a fan of the women even before joining the show. In fact, that’s what made her hesitant to sign on.

Tami Roman Denies ‘Implant’ Rumors, Talks ‘Catching A Case’ With Co-Stars

“I almost didn’t want to join the cast of ‘Basketball Wives LA.’ I liked our cast. But I felt like these young ladies needed somebody like me cause they walking around…everybody thinking they friends. Everybody being fake with each other. And I think they needed somebody to come in and let them know that what they think is not the case.”

She finally got around to what she really wanted to say and blurted out, “They wack. I couldn’t hold it no more. They sack sot hey needed us to come and spice it up. And let’s be clear, they’re a carbon copy.”

Interestingly enough, the Los Angleles series did take off after the success of the Miami franchise. And O’Neal, who is the creator and executive echoed Roman’s comments.

“It was a little flat…They’re trying hard.”

Roman cleared the air and said, “No we’re not the newbies.”
