Jenelle Evans opened up about her relationship with Nathan Griffith during a new interview.

Jenelle Evans Talks Parenting Post-Drugs, Reconciliation With Nathan Griffith

Speaking to Perez Hilton for a July 9 interview, the Teen Mom 2 star explained her and Griffith's current status, and revealed their plans for the future.

"Right now we're working things out. We are taking things very slow," Evans explained. "We don't want to end up in the situation we were once in. He has his own place, and we broke up for a couple of months, and now we're just getting back into the relationship and taking things slow. We are going to start couple's counseling soon."

Although Griffith wanted to begin planning for the wedding as soon as they got back together, Evans wasn't on board, and claimed to have told him, "We are not doing that for like another year because I want to make sure you want to be with me forever."

As for her relationship with her mother, Barbara, Evans said their it has improved.

"We still have our days. She's wish-washy, but other than that, we've been getting along," she explained to Perez Hilton. "We are trying to work on our custody agreement together so when we go to court, it's done and over with."
