Everyone's favorite makeup artist Kat Von D is releasing a new lipstick shade that shows off a pretty enigmatic style.

On Saturday, the tattoo and beauty celebrity took to Instagram to post a photo of herself in retro looking sunglasses and a shiny turquoise color on her lips. Giving off a style that can come from the 60s, Von D pointed out that this new makeup brand is called "Plan 9" and will be launched in a "few more weeks."

When it comes to lipstick, Von D knows exactly how to make it look bewitching and captivating. Another photo shows a dark red color for the upcoming Metal Crush Collection. The artist is calling this piece "RoseShock."

Kat Von Displays 'Ultra-Violet' Launch

Von D's beauty career seems to be doing splendidly, which she must be proud of since she had a rough time years back, involving a problem with alcohol. In a post from The Fix in 2013, the celebrity opened up on realizing how important it was to get her life on track.

"When I realized that drinking was getting in the way [of tattooing], I woke up one day and said I don't want to drink anymore and I stopped," she told talk show host Rosie O'Donnell.
