A sneak peek released on Monday shows Lena talking to this mysterious figure who became some kind of god for the kids. Minx is helping Lena communicate with him through lights outside.
Lena is weirded out about this, but she does the best she can; she asks Drill if he likes it here and the lights go bright and dim, which probably means "yes." Lena's a little freaked out, but Minx seems to enjoy it.
Previous Scene From 'The Whispers' Implies There Are More Creatures Like Drill
The woman asks if this thing plans to stay for a while. When the lights go bright, not only does this sound like another "yes," but Drill might mean something along the lines of "definitely."
The moment stops when Wes walks in and notices that he just missed dinner; he also missed what the girls were doing, something that Drill doesn't want the man to know. Minx tells Lena not to tell him about the game, and based on the eerie moment that just occurred, she may want to listen.
When Lena gets up to go make Wes some dinner, he has a seat next to his daughter. As Minx looks like she's keeping a secret, her dad asks her what they're about to play.
