Andrew Savage is coming back to Survivor next season, giving him a shot to play the game in a different era.

'Survivor: Cambodia' Tribe Color, Name & Divisions Leaked

Andrew is one of 20 one-time players who did not win the game selected by America for a second chance at the $1 million. Dubbed Survivor: Cambodia - Second Chance, the upcoming season is highly anticipated by the fan community.

Andrew originally played in Survivor: Pearl Islands, the season that introduced America to Ruper Boneham, Jonny Fairplay and Sandra Diaz-Twine. But fans may not remember that Andrew was a very significant part of the cast at the time as well.

'Survivor: Cambodia' Players Return To Social Media

Starting off on the Morgan tribe, Andrew stepped into a leadership position very early on. Unfortunately, his tribe was not able to compete with Drake, the other tribe, and they lost the first three Immunity Challenges. He and the majority of his tribe voted out the untrustworthy Nicole Delma, the relatively week Ryan Shoulders and sensitive scout leader Lillian "Lill" Morris. But Andrew would later come to regret that last elimination.

After voting out three of their members, Morgan got on a winning streak that carried them through the pre-merge.

Then, the Outcast twist was introduced. The six players voted out in the pre-merge came back for a chance to compete against those who voted them out. The Outcasts ended up winning, which meant that two of them would be coming back into the game. And one of those players was Lill.

The tribes merged, and Andrew proceeded to shun Lill, believing it to be an unfair twist. This would ultimately be his undoing. With the tribes merging 5-5, Lill proceeded to flip to the Drake tribe as they voted out Andrew at the merge.

In the annals of Survivor history, Andrew certainly ranks up there as one of the most screwed-over players ever. There was no precedent to players voted out returning to the game, and Andrew would become the victim.

Heading into Cambodia, Andrew isn't exactly one of the more notorious or even well-known members of the cast. Most of his reputation is being a leader and getting screwed over by the Outback twist, so it's hard to imagine him being a target right off the bat. While he was 39 at the time, he is 51 now, so he will probably be less of a physical threat than he was in Pearl Islands.

Andrew is a type-A leader, and he will probably get into an alliance of strong people, probably with fellow guys. As long as he doesn't get too bossy, he shouldn't have a huge problem making it to the merge.

After the merge it's a tough call, since alliance numbers are usually most important. If he reacts too emotionally again this time around he could easily find himself voted out during the early jury stage. But he has the charm to make it somewhat far if bigger threats are still in the game at that point.

Cambodia Prediction: Andrew could really go either way in Cambodia, but we think he'll have what it takes to make it past the merge and deep into the game. He's older now, he doesn't have a big reputation and he's a generally likable guy. However, he will probably have trouble making it to the very end since he may be deemed to big of a threat to win. We think he will get to the Final 4 after winning some key Immunity Challenges but just miss out on making it to Final Tribal Council.

We predict: 4th place.
