On Friday, The Scotsman discovered that golf player Marc Warren was able to pull through a tournament after watching the popular sitcom that Sweeten was a part of. As Warren waited for his second round, he took some time to watch Everybody Loves Raymond, which turned out to be a good decision.

"During the delay, I went back inside, sat in the players' lounge again for about 45 minutes, and then I ended up actually going to the car, watched a bit of TV and ended up falling asleep, kind of dozing on and off," the golfer said. "Everybody Loves Raymond was on Channel 4 and I was just kind of watching whatever was on."

The site pointed out that Warren went to shoot a 69 that took him to seven-under for the tournament. When play got underway, he was found on TV more after a 68 on Thursday. As things went smoothly for him, the golfer also explained how great the audience was.

"The crowds were incredible today- a big difference to yesterday," he said. "I don't know if that was the difference when we teed off or just in attendance, but every hole seemed to be lined and a lot of great support out there."
