The show that introduced them to one another and aided their eventual off-screen love story didn't survive after its first season, but that won't stop Maggie Q and Dylan McDermott from working together again.

Will 'Stalker' Being Canceled Hurt Maggie Q & Dylan McDermott's Romance?

According to Deadline, McDermott may be cast in a recurring role in his fiancee's upcoming series Red Flag.

According to the website, McDermott could be offered a recurring role in the Chinese history-themed adventure series. The series, set in the early 1800s, centers on Ching Shih (Maggie Q), a beautiful young Chinese prostitute who goes on to become one of history's most powerful pirates and the head of the most successful crime syndicate in Canton China. She will wind up amassing over 100,000 sailors and 1500-plus vessels, and will have control of the South China Sea while taking on the Imperial Chinese navy, the Portuguese navy, and the British navy--conquering them all.

Maggie Q & Dylan McDermott Get Affectionate On A Red Carpet

McDermott's role would be Mason, an American Revolutionary--though he wouldn't be the male lead and romantic interest for his fiancee in the show.

The role of Q's romantic interest, Carlito, a Portuguese sailor and bounty hunter who becomes Ching Shih's lover after he goes to hunt down and capture her, will be played by Francois Arnaud.

Q and McDermott met on the set of the canceled CBS series Stalker, which saw their characters work together as a part of L.A.'s threat assessment unit and helped cover cases of stalking in the city.
