The Caspere murder case is officially closed, but Bezzerides (Rachel McAdams), Velcoro (Colin Farrell) and Woodrugh (Taylor Kitsch) will continue sticking their neck out on the line as they secretly continue looking into it on True Detective.

The Aftermath of the Shooting Changes Everything

The three are now a part of a special task force which has been assembled to secretly still look into the case--and now, things are beginning to pay off for them as they look deeper into the dark secrets and skeletons in Caspere's closet.

Now, knowing more of what they do, Bezzerides and Woodrugh will continue working the angle that gives them answers through the high-end prostitution ring, which will see her go undercover to get some answers--even though her sister, Athena (Leven Rambin), will remind her of how dangerous these men are compared to the ones she used to work with.

Was The Shootout The Deadliest In History?

"Anything else about this party?" Bezzerides asks her in a preview clip for the Sunday, July 26 episode.

"If those webcam guys were bad, this is worse," she answers.

Her words of caution won't keep Bezzerides from looking into it however, and she will go undercover--though she may admit to Woodrugh that she's concerned about being so vulnerable because she won't have a set means of protection if things go wrong.

"I can't bring a phone in or anything else," she says in the clip.

"I've got your back. I'm going to tail the bus," he answers.

True Detective airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO.
