Maci Bookout Claims Fans May Not Look At Her The Same After Reading 'Bulletproof'

In a new interview, Bookout explained why she decided to keep Bentley, and her new baby, three-month-old Jayde, away from the cover art for Bulletproof.

“In the book, there’s obviously a lot about Bentley and my pregnancy with him and birth, but the book is a reflection of my life and my thoughts, and me as a person,” Bookout explained to The Ashley's Reality Roundup on Tuesday. "I don’t want anything in the book to reflect him as a person, or his personality, because he’s his own person. He’ll have his own life to live and story to tell.”

Earlier this year, Bookout's co-star, Farrah Abraham, dissed Amber Portwood, Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra, for not including their children on the covers of their books as she had done with Sophia.

Although Bookout intended to release her book years ago, she suffered a major setback after her laptop was stolen.

“I had a lot of the book written and my laptop got stolen in the spring of 2013,” Bookout recalled. “It had all of my writing on it. I even tweeted, begging whoever stole my laptop to just send me back my book writings. Pretty much I had to start from scratch after that.”

Maci Bookout's Bulletproof is available in stores and online now.
