Gia Allemand was remembered in a funeral service at Trinity Grace Church in Chelsea, New York City on Thursday.
Hundreds of friends and family gathered for the memorial, hugging one another outside the church prior to the memorial.
Outside, a large bouquet of flowers adorned a vehicle, with her name spelled out in the floral arrangement.
