Cleveland, Ohio, kidnapping victim Michelle Knight Michelle wrote a handwritten "thank you" note to Cleveland Police, posted on the department's Facebook page.

A charity set up to help the three women freed from a decade of captivity in a Cleveland house has raised more than $480,000 so far, according to an official. Lynne Woodman of KeyBank said that there have been more than 5,100 donations to what has been dubbed the "Cleveland Courage Fund." She said donations have come from all 50 states and foreign countries. The money will go into four trust funds established for the victims.

Ohio kidnap and rape victims Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus have been released for the hospital and reunited with their families last week but the third victim saved on May 6, Michele Knight, reportedly remains in the hospital and refuses to see her family.

Among the three women found Monday locked up in the Cleveland, Ohio, home of suspected kidnapper Ariel Castro, Michele Knight has received the less amount of media attention. Even when she disappeared in Cleveland in August of 2002, authorities did not make a big deal about it compared to the disappearance of Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus in the same Ohio area.
