Season 2 of The Following will feature some new faces going the cast. Fox's serial killer drama booked Oz alum Lee Tergesen for its upcoming sophomore season. The actor will have a guest-starring role in the seventh episode playing Kurt Bolen, described as a family man whom Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) suspects of keeping a dark secret.
The dead will not stay dead in season 2 of The Following. Murderer Joe Carroll (James Purefoy) was confirmed dead in The Following's season 1 finale but viewers have not seen the last of him. Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) is the FBI agent responsible for ending Joe's killing spree and is out for revenge in a new promo for season 2 of the Fox series, which also seems to confirm the death of a major character.
The Following has made a bunch of new additions to the cast. '90210' star Jessica Stroup and 'Beautiful Creatures' star Tiffany Boone will join as series regulars. Other notable additions include James McDaniels (NYPD Blue alum), Valeriz Cruz (Homeland),Connie Nelson (Gladiator), Sam Underwood (Dexter).
Ending on quite an impressive high note, Fox's The Following wrapped up its debut season with a cliffhanger and several deaths. While no one knows for sure what lies ahead for its second season, the suspense has already started to come up.
