Michael Wolff's explosive bestseller Fire and Fury, which explored the inner workings of Donald Trump's White House, is coming to a television screen near you.

Fire And Fury Rights Acquired By Endeavor Content

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Endeavor Content has acquired the film and TV rights of Wolf's exposé on the commander-in-chief in a seven-figure deal.

The upcoming TV series has not yet found a network, but Endeavor will start shopping the project around soon. Wolff will serve as an executive producer on the series along with veteran Channel 4 and BBC executive Michael Jackson.

The small screen adaptation of Fire and Fury comes after an upcoming HBO project about the Trump presidency was recently canceled after sexual assault allegations emerged against the show's cowriter Mark Halperin.

The news comes a few weeks before Stephen Colbert's new animated comedy series called Our Cartoon President debuts on Showtime on Feb. 11. The series will comprise of 10 half-hour episodes and will follow the misadventures of Trump as President of the United States.

Wolff's Controversial Best-Seller

Wolff's Fire and Fury gave readers an insight into Trump's disastrous first year in the White House and how even his close aides felt he was not fit to be the 45th President of the United States.

The author earned unprecedented access to the White House by using a misleading working title that suggested a sympathetic view toward the President. Moreover, the fact that the some of the President's staff members thought they were authorized to talk to Wolff also helped the author's cause.

The tell-all book also led Trump to end ties with his former chief strategist Steve Bannon, who Wolff quoted criticizing Trump and his family in the book. The President's lawyers attempted to stop the publication of the book but instead it published early and has since sold more than 1.4 million hardcover copies.

Trump's Response To Wolff's Explosive Book

Of course, the Fire and Fury's success did not sit well with Trump, who took to social media to disparage Wolff, his book, and Bannon earlier this month.

"Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book," Trump wrote on Twitter. "He used Sloppy Steve Bannon, who cried when he got fired and begged for his job. Now Sloppy Steve has been dumped like a dog by almost everyone."
