Kim Kardashian blasted television personality, Katie Couric for being 'fake' Friday on her Instagram account.

Apparently the 32-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality star still has not moved passed Couric comments about why the new mother is famous.

Couric previously questioned Kardashian's fame in an interview with InTouch magazine.

"I don't understand - why are they so famous? I think it's mostly teenage girls that are interested," the talk show host told the publication.

Kardashian fired back with an Instagram photo of a baby gift from Couric, with a noted that read:

"Dear Kim and Kanye,

Congratualtions on the birth of your baby girl! As the moth. And may I humbly suggest you continue the K tradition for na,

Fondly, Katie Couric"

Kardashian, not pleased with Couric's previous comments captioned the picture, with "#IHateFakeMediaFriends #MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkShit."

Just recently Kardashian's mom, Kris Jenner came to the couple's defense after President Obama referred to the past generation of kids who "weren't monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing, or where Kanye West was going on vacation, and thinking that somehow that was the mark of success."

The President used Kardashian and West as examples of celebrities that kids looked up to because of their rich, famous and fabulous lifestyle.

Jenner, 57, took Obama's statements to offense and said on her talk show, Kris,  that West and Kardashian weren't ruining kids' views of success.

"I wasn't aware that you could only set the bar so high and that we could only dream so big," Jenner said after reading the president's quotes. "I was taught: Dream big, work hard and you could have whatever you wanted."

Jenner called Kardashian the "hardest-working" woman alive and said that she worked hard to get where she is now.
