Fans of Discovery Channel's Amish Mafia won't have to wait long to see a new episode of the addictive show, which had its second season finale Tuesday night.

According to Penn Live, Discovery Channel will air a special episode next week, followed by a Christmas special later this year.

Discovery gave a description of the episode, titled Judgment Day, on its website.

"Never-before-seen footage and exclusive interviews show what really happened behind the scenes during this season's run of Amish Mafia. The group talks about its reaction to the show and reveals proof that the show is absolutely real," the description read.

Season 2 saw drama involving Lebanon Levi being shunned from the church, and trying to make amends in any way he possibly can. Caleb gets into trouble with the community, specifically The Bishop, who doesn't like Caleb's flirtation and romance with his daughter. Alan Beiler also went to court and was sentenced to 3-23 months in prison for eluding officers in a high speed chase, drug possession, and driving with a suspended license.

This also comes on the heels of the show winning the ratings race with Tuesday night's finale. According to a press release on TV by the Numbers, Mafia was the Number 1 non-fiction cable program among the 25-54 male demographic on Tuesday, with 2.72 million total viewers. It managed to beat some stiff network competition in the male demographic, including NBC's The Million Second Quiz, and CBS' NCIS: Los Angeles and Person of Interest, which were reruns.

The special episode of Mafia premieres Tuesday Sept. 24, and goes head to head with the season premieres of the CBS shows it beat this week.
