Kris Humphries successfully managed to sell the engagement ring he bought for his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian for $749,000 Tuesday.

E! News confirmed that the 28-year-old Boston Celtics player sold the bling for a price more than Christie's auction house expected, but far less than the $2million price at the the time it was given to Kardashian, who is now dating Kanye West.

The ring that had16.2-carat center rock and two 1.8-carat side stones went for $620,000. After the auction fees added up the winning bidder wounded up paying $749,000 for the ring.

The pre-auction estimated price for the ring ranged between $300,000-$500,000.

But nonetheless, Humphries is happy to get rid of it.

"Kris is very pleased with the final result," Humphries' rep said in a statement.

The rep added that the NBA player's "top priority" is to donate the money to a charity, but hasn't decided which one.

"The ring is indeed Kris' property that he received through his marriage dissolution," the rep said. "He has long-since moved on and is very much looking forward to a successful auction at Christie's on Tuesday, and of course to returning to the court this upcoming NBA season as a Boston Celtic."

Humphries and the 32-year-old reality star got engaged back in May 2011 and married three months later in August. After only been married for 72 days, Kardashian filed for divorce. Their divorce was recently finalized in June 2013.
