While fans anticipate the rest of the fifth season of Covert Affairs, another question might linger in mind- will there be a sixth season?

Annie Takes Matters Into Her Own Hands When 'Covert Affairs' Returns

Christopher Gorham, who plays Auggie on the series, was apparently asked that question on Twitter where he responded with what he knows about it. As it turns out, he actually doesn't have much to say.

His response on Friday to the news of a sixth season was, "Ha! I have no news on that front. RT @Andrejia_: does your 'Renewal' have a double meaning?! #CovertAffairsSeason6."

'Covert Affairs' Actor Teases Upcoming Episode

The question of a renewal probably came from Gorham's previous tweet where he posted a photo on Instagram of his time in Buenos Aires where the series has been filming. The photo shows plants and what appears to be a small statue where he wrote, "Buenos Aires. Recoleta. A little renewal as we head into the weekend. Life finds it's way."

Odds are likely that it could take a while before an official announcement of a possible sixth season of Covert Affairs gets announced since the remainder of the fifth season has yet to air. However, Gorham did tease that a future episode is going to be something worth watching since the last moments will likely be enticing.

"I know it's early, but I'm excited for you to see the EP of Covert Affairs I directed. Especially the ending. :) Nov 13 at 10pm on USA," he tweeted on Thursday.

The series will return on Thursday, November 6 at 10 p.m. ET on USA.
