There has been a whole lot of speculation surrounding the pre-production of Transformers 5, especially when it comes to the key drivers, the director and the cast for the sequel to Age of Extinction.

Ultra Magnus To Fight Cyclonus In Transformers 5?

Since Michael Bay has ditched the franchise, it has mostly been assumed that Michael Wahlberg will also be walking out of the franchise. The recent rumors about Megan Fox returning to the series along with co-lead Shia LeBeouf also started to take over. They were spurred by both Fox and LeBeouf addressing questions about their willingness to helm the fifth instalment of Transformers. It seems more likely that Fox might come back as she expressed greater keenness and a new Movie Pilot report hints that the actress is not very picky when it comes to movies that fare well at the box office.

On September 1, MoviePilot reported that while Fox has expressed interest in returning, she might be in a bit of bind because of her commitment to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Recently, Fox who had been very critical of Bay right after the first phase of the Transformers franchise that she had starred in, buried the hatchet and said she would love to work with the director again. It seems like the two are best pals again and he was instrumental in getting her a part in the reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Quintessons To Be The Prime Villains In Transformers 5?

Speaking to E!News in an interview dated August 4, the actress revealed that she would be interested in coming back on board if she was asked.

"If [Bay] ever wanted me to do a cameo like assembling an autobot motorcycle in a bike shop or something like that, I would totally do it," Fox said.

Meanwhile, LeBeouf has been very noncommital and said that while he might be up for doing the sequel, it's highly unlikely that would happen. So maybe Fox will reprise her part with a new male co-lead.
