If fans thought rapper Bow Wow & Love & Hip Hop New York star Erica Mena were not serious about tying the knot before, they have made their wedding official and set a date.

It looks like it will be a spring wedding for the celebrity couple as the rapper and actor announced that they will be saying their vows in April of 2015. But just hours before Bow Wow had to defend his future wife against a comedian who dissed them both.

News of their date was almost overshadowed by funny guy Tony Rock who shared his thoughts on their relationship via Twitter.

He first pointed out that the show Bow Wow hosted, BET's 106 & Park has been cancelled and asked if that meant the end of the wedding for the couple.

Rock went on to tweet, "I ain't even hatin on Bow Wow. Every n---a falls in love with a full blown wh*re once in his life."

Bow Wow responded, "ill have a talk w/ you when i see you. Face to face cuz"

The interaction comes after Bow Wow revealed the wedding date. He told fans via Instagram when he shared a picture of his future wife with the caption, "The date is set. April 2015 #MRANDMRSMOSS" Wednesday.

Bow Wow did not let the criticism and negative comments stop him from following up his picture with a video of he and his future wife, who seems to like calling him "daddy." He shared the video saying he was getting ready to "put in work" and pointed out his "partner in crime" by his side. They ended the video saying "I love you" to one another. Check out the cute video.
