Rachel is set to move back to Ohio after her TV show ultimately fails, while Blaine's grades at NYADA are continuing to slip, forcing him to move back home as well.

Michele spoke with Entertainment Tonight about what to expect when Glee returns for season 6, which will be its last.

"At the beginning of season 6, we find out what happened with Rachel in Los Angeles and with the TV show and that gets really messed up," Michele revealed. "She finds herself back in Ohio but for good reason because these kids need her and she's back to sort of re-boot the glee club."

Meanwhile, Blaine's return includes him becoming the new coach of the Warblers.

The two bond over their shared lot in life with a cheerful song, according to Michele.

"When the whole TV series is crashing down, I come back to Ohio and Blaine cheers me up. We sing Suddenly Seymour together which is super sweet," she said, referring to the song featured in Little Shop of Horrors.

It seems inevitable that Rachel's revived glee club and the Warblers will probably face off at some point during the season, though there is no confirmation one way or the other.

Glee returns for its final season on Friday, Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
