Emily Maynard has been the center of much conversation: rumors have been swirling that she cheated on her fiancé Jef Holm, and now "Bachelorette" contestant Chris Bukowski admitted on the "Bachelor Pad" that he still has lingering feelings for the Southern Belle.

"When Emily sent me home, it was probably one of the worst things I've ever experienced. When you feel something so right, it's heartbreaking," Bukowski admitted on the Aug. 27 episode of "Bachelor Pad" (according to Us Weekly) to his new love interest Sarah Newlon. "Part of me is still hanging on to what I had with Emily on the past season of the 'Bachelorette.'"

But Burkowski spent little time mending his broken heart. Burkowski was dumped on "The Bachelorette's" July 2 episode just two weeks before the finale, and he rushed right into the "Bachelor Pad" mansion following their split. He then romanced fellow contestant Jamie Otis before developing a strong connection with Newlon.

"I'm still trying to find out how long it takes for a broken heart to heal," Bukowski admitted after he and Newlon won the show's Spelling Bee challenge and were awarded a romantic overnight date. "I didn't expect to meet a girl like Sarah. . . [but] I'm not sure I'm ready to take this relationship to the next level."

Newlon allowed him to discuss his feelings about the Maynard breakup openly.

"There's so many more sides to Chris [viewers don't see]," she said of Bukowski (via Us Weekly), who made it to the next round on the "Bachelor Pad" while the couple Kalon McMahon and Lindzi Cox were eliminated. "He really is an amazing guy."

But Bukowski's love confession is probably the least of Holm's worries.

Us Weekly reported that on Aug. 19, Holm took Maynard's phone and discovered she had been having an affair with another man during a family vacation in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Though the reality TV couple denied these rumors, Holm's brother told Us Weekly: "I was there and I heard the fight and watched the whole thing go down, Emily leaving and everything. I love my brother very much and, like the rest of our family, I just want him to be happy."

A day after his brother's allegations, Holm affirmed to People magazine that the claims were "100 percent false."

Holm went on to say, "My family all says they are shocked, and obviously I'm shocked. But if everybody knew the history he had with our family, no one would be surprised."
