She appeared to have been headed towards a recovery following her hospitalization in January, but it turns out Breaking Amish's Schmucker family matriarch Mamma Mary was recently in the hospital once again.

According to the Facebook page for her son Abe and daughter-in-law Rebecca, Mary was back in the hospital again, undergoing a surgery for an issue stemming from the hernia that first landed her in the hospital back in January, and underwent a successful surgery on April 2.

Finally, a third post from April 3 updated fans to let them know that Mary had indeed been released from the hospital and was truly on the road to recovery.

It is unclear if after Mary is recovered, if the cast will all be reuniting for a new season of their show. They were last seen on a special season of Return to Amish last summer.
