The fan favorite frenemies, Victor (Eric Braeden) and Jack (Peter Bergman), will have a showdown in the hospital on The Young and the Restless today, July 23, which has been a long time coming.

Why Has Jessica Collins 'Been Disappointed' In Portraying Avery On 'The Young and the Restless' In Recent Months?

Previously on the CBS soap Victor helped a ruthless criminal take over Jack's life and then once Jack made it back to Genoa City, Victor shot him thinking it was the criminal posing as him.

Now the two men will "go head to head" according to the CBS Daytime Twitter.

Will Cane & Lauren End Up Together On 'The Young and the Restless'?

Soaps revealed Victor and Jack would agree to disagree for the most part since they each have something big on each other.

In the sneak peek video for the episode, Marisa (Sofia Pernas) and Noah (Robert Adamson) will discuss her not being involved in the various murders that have taken place in Genoa City.

"I had nothing to do with those murders," Marisa insists to him, which will lead to her sharing Marco (also portrayed by Bergman) is dead and at the bottom of a lake, which will prompt Noah to insist on getting the police involved.

Is Marco really dead though? It seems like viewers of the soap will find out soon enough.

Also in the sneak peek video, Billy (Burgess Jenkins) discusses with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) a plan to get Gabriel/Adam's (Justin Hartley) DNA to prove he's not Jack's son.

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will try to interfere with that plan though by telling Gabriel/Adam about it.

In the sneak peek video she calls him saying, "Come to my place right away. You're in serious trouble."

Chelsea will state her fears to him later in person that because of his obsessing over his father and Newman-Abbott, he might lose her and their son again. This will prompt Gabriel/Adam to step down from being CEO of the company and he will admit he's not Jack's son, yet will spin it that Jack was in on the lie, but Phyllis and Billy still won't believe that story.

Phyllis will learn Jack is awake though so she might finally get some legitimate answers.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
