Just off a Seattle arrest, infamous comedian Katt Williams recently announced on Monday that he would be retiring following an unorthodox incident in a Seattle bar.

"I'm just going to go ahead and announce my retirement from stand-up. I'm kinda done," Williams stated to Seattle TV Station KOMO.

The funny man had been in the Seattle, Wa. area this past weekend to perform his comedy routine. However, his aggressive behavior at the bar and an odd quarrel with a policeman is what reportedly led to his transport to the King County Jail where Williams ended up being booked on assault, harassment and obstruction.

However, he was said to be released on Monday morning via bond. The popular celebrity has been no stranger to controversy as of late. Williams was allegedly in the midst of some other volatile incidents while on tour in Sacramento and Oakland.

The KOMO station released an interview with Williams that was said to be recorded on a street after he was kicked out of a Lake Union hotel on Monday evening. "I've already discussed it with my kids," he said. "I wasn't really going to do it on a Seattle street. I was going to Los Angeles and do it in the offices of ICM or LiveNation."

LiveNation is a concert promotion company while ICM specializes in managing talent.

Williams also informed the news outlet that he would stay in Seattle until his scheduled court appearance on Thursday. He also said that he would be filing a lawsuit against the city "for this 50 million that I want for crippling my reputation as a father and a black man and as a taxpaying citizen and as a person who is not a convinced felon."

Prior to his incarceration, the troubled comedian was said to have "exchanged words with patrons in the bar, brandished a pool cue at a bar manager and refused to leave the business," while also refusing to show ID to a police officer who had responded to the scene.
