Friday on The Young and the Restless Kevin (Greg Rikaart) was on a mission to prove Detective Harding (Chris L. McKenna) is connected to Marco (Peter Bergman) and the murders that have happened in Genoa City.

Kevin followed Detective Harding to Abbott cabin where the murder mystery began with the death of Austin (Matthew Atkinson).

During the episode set to air Monday, Aug. 17, Detective Harding will catch on to knowing Kevin knows much more than he or Marco would want him to know.

Kevin Will Follow Detective Harding To Abbott Cabin On 'The Young and the Restless,' But Why?

In the sneak peek below, Detective Harding asks Kevin while they're inside Abbott cabin, "What are you doing here?"

"Funny. I was just going to ask you the same thing," Kevin replies.

According to Soaps, Kevin will walk Detective Harding through the night Austin died again back at the scene of the crime, but of course things Detective Harding says won't add up and Kevin will connect more and more dots.

Plus, Kevin will question why Detective Harding is having a security detail follow Jack (also portrayed by Bergman) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni).

Because of Kevin's need to find out the truth, he will worry Mariah (Camryn Grimes) greatly.

In the sneak peek, she is with Summer (Hunter King), Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan), Marisa (Sofia Pernas) and Noah (Robert Adamson), and she asks Marisa and Noah if they have seen Kevin. They haven't though.

Meanwhile, Marco is plotting to kill Jack. He will attempt to lure Jack to Newman-Abbott, but Detective Harding will intervene and it won't end well for him.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
