‘The Young and the Restless’ News 2016: Will Mariah & Luca Become A Couple This Year? [POLL, VIDEO]
A key component in making soap operas so steamy and addictive is the romance.
Unfortunately, not all characters on soap operas do well in that department. The Young and the Restless' Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) falls in that category of not doing too hot in love.

Grimes took to Twitter Thursday to ask her followers about their "wants/wishes" for her character on the soap opera in 2016.

As it turns out, a lot of viewers of the CBS soap opera want her loved up--and we're not talking the awkwardness that lingers between her and Kevin (Greg Rikaart). It makes a lot of sense that people who watch the soap opera want to see Grimes' character truly experience love since her past love life is rather pitiful.
Mariah has been a fixture on the soap opera since late January of 2014 with her love life being way less than stellar. At one point, she developed an extremely unhealthy infatuation with Nick (Joshua Morrow). Plus, Ian (Ray Wise) drugged her so he'd be able to force her to marry him. In other news of Mariah's love life, she had a one-night stand with Tyler's (Redaric Williams) boss and she even had a romance with Tyler that fell apart. Then more recently she has been tied to Kevin, which as we mentioned, is quite awkward and just doesn't really work well.
Anyway, since the actress asked her followers what they want to see happen to Mariah in 2016, they gushed over romance and seem to want this romance to occur with Luca (Miles Villanueva).
One follower dished just how much they dislike Kevin, and it goes back to storylines from quite a few years ago.

That same follower wants Mariah to work for Victor (Eric Braeden) at Newman Enterprises and make "Luca squeal between the sheets."
