He's been working behind the scenes to try and ensure Carlos (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) pays for Duke's murder, but after learning that Michael (Chad Duell) is doing his own investigation that hits a little too closely to his, Sonny (Maurice Benard) will warn his son to keep as far away from things as possible on General Hospital.

Sonny, along with Anna (Finola Hughes) brought Carlos back to Port Charles to face charges for the murder, and when it seemed like Carlos might be able to walk because the case against him was flimsy, he helped procure a witness who claimed to see the murder happen. However, Michael has been more concerned about Sabrina (Teresa Castillo) and her baby, who were not with Carlos when he was found, and who have not been heard from by anyone for some time now.

Michael and Felix (Marc Anthony Samuel) took a trip to Puerto Rico to find her, and came close when they visited with her aunt, but still left with no answers, unaware that at least the baby could have been there.

Now though, when he tells Sonny about his trip, he will be shocked when his father reacts the way he does about his trip-and forbids him to continue looking into Sabrina's whereabouts, at least for now.

"I don't want you anywhere near this situation," Sonny says in a preview clip for the Thursday, April 28 episode.

Now, Michael will be stuck, potentially unable to keep trying to find Sabrina, who he truly cares about, and who he wants to make sure is okay. Sonny's concerns will be valid however, since Sabrina is a real key witness who could turn Carlos in, but may jeopardize the case, because the baby is Carlos's and the two have a long and complicated romantic history.

Sonny will also be concerned because looking into the wrong people and places could put Michael in danger, due to the connections to the mob that could become a part of things.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
