Brexit Reactions 2016: James Corden, Hugh Laurie & More Comment On 'Leave' Decision [VIDEO]
British comedians are reacting to Thursday night's Brexit vote, many of them disappointed with the outcome.
On Thursday, United Kingdom citizens voted on whether to leave or remain in the European Union. While those on the "leave" side argued for freedom, independence and against immigration, the "remain" side argued that leaving could signal grave danger for the economy. The "leave" side ultimately won out, with close to 52 percent.
Many British comedians have taken to Twitter to blast the decision and show their disappointment. Here's a select few:
I can't get my head around what's happening in Britain.I'm so sorry to the youth of Britain. I fear you've been let down today x

At last, we can now return to the good old days. Of isolation, rampant xenophobia & our poor dying young in terrible hospitals.

Congratulations exiters. Reverse is across and down, easy on the clutch.

Still, it's been good to see an election where we've focussed on what unites us, which, sadly, is hatred.

John Oliver spoke about Brexit in his most recent episode of Last Week Tonight, arguing against leaving despite the problems with the European Union.
"Here is how I feel about the EU," Oliver said. "It's a complicated, bureaucratic, ambitious, overbearing, inspirational, and consistently irritating institution. And Britain would be absolutely crazy to leave it."
Many other British celebrities have shared their thoughts on the "leave" decision as well:
I voted Remain.
