They're trying to determine if the baby Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) gave birth to is indeed one belonging to Nicole (Arianne Walker) and Daniel, but Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Deimos (Vincent Irizarry) will find the situation to be even more difficult after Nancy (Patrika Darbo) sweeps into town on Days of Our Lives.

Chloe's mom arrived to see her still comatose daughter and to take over care for the baby girl she gave birth to, just as Deimos was about to get a DNA sample from the infant so he could run tests which would prove his suspicions that Holly is Nicole's daughter, and Chloe had in fact served as a surrogate for her and Daniel after his death. Now, she will bar both him and Brady from being near the little girl or Chloe-and the move will raise even more suspicions in both of their minds.

Brady has been hesitant to believe the baby might be Nicole's, and has earned Diemos not to say a word to her until there is concrete proof. But his doubts may quickly all disappear and he will become as sure as Deimos is that the baby is Nicole's after Nancy's abrupt appearance and desire to take over.

Now, he and Deimos will be sure that Nancy actually knows the truth, and is trying to make sure her daughter remains protected at all costs. And knowing that it will be even more difficult now to prove their suspicions, the two may decide to team up so they can try and solve the mystery once and for all.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
