Several weeks before his surprising wedding to Jennifer Lopez in Las Vegas, the actor apparently had a full-fledged meltdown.
The source of Affleck's stress was his fiancée, and he was obliged to cope with so many things at once.
According to In Touch (via OK magazine), the event occurred on the set of the film he is now shooting in Los Angeles on June 28.
During his apparent tantrum, Affleck allegedly rushed forcefully towards Chris Messina.
According to an insider, "Something is eating away at him. He's got a lot on his plate, and he's been venting to those around him - and he's even lost it a few times."
Aside with directing a film about Nike founder Phil Knight wooing Michael Jordan for an endorsement agreement, the "Deep Waters" actor is also busy organizing her wedding.
The constant quest for the ideal home for their mixed family exacerbates the chaos.
According to the insider, Ben Affleck's latest film is his first in almost six years, and he also stars in it.
He's also working on numerous other tasks, including co-parenting children with Jennifer Garner, home searching, and being clean.
While Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, who called off their 2003 wedding and split up a few months later, have opted to marry, OK magazinehas learnt that they will also celebrate their new marriage status later this month, but this time with friends and family in attendance.
Unfortunately, it has now added "another degree of stress" to Affleck's life.
Affleck has already secured the location for the second wedding; he and Lopez will marry on the actor's 87-acre mansion in Georgia. It was also the same location where they had intended to marry 20 years before.
But, as always, take the outlet's reports with a grain of salt.

Meanwhile, on July 16, 2022, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck married in Las Vegas and made their first overseas journey as Mr. and Mrs.
The newlyweds were photographed in Paris, France, on Thursday, according to Page Six.
Lopez and Affleck appeared smitten as they walked around the City of Love holding hands.
The couple resumed their romance in 2021, about two decades after they had broken up.
Lopez announced their marriage in the July 17 edition of her "On The JLo" newsletter.
