On the midseason premiere of Glee, Rachel (Lea Michele) and Santana (Naya Rivera) could see an end to their friendship and happy living situation.

Fox published a press release confirming that the upcoming Frenemies episode of Glee will feature Santana getting the role of Rachel's understudy in Funny Girl. This causes the friends/roommates to feud.

Back at McKinley High, Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) and Artie (Kevin McHale), who have their own complicated relationship, compete against each other for class valedictorian.

TVLine published two promotional photos of Frenemies on Tuesday, featuring both Rachel and Santana singing their hearts out. The first photo features Rachel posing for a photo shoot to promote Funny Girl. The other photo features Santana in a turquoise dress belting out a song, likely to be Don't Rain on My Parade, which was previously revealed to be one of the songs performed in the episode.

In other Glee news, the musical series is preparing for the next step in the show's evolution: leaving Lima behind. The show is casting for various New York City stereotypes, including an obese subway rider and an untrustworthy man on crutches who could be a mugger, according to E! Online.

Other stereotypical characters include two models who "make you regret eating that cooking you have right now.

Additionally, some of the show's characters will be enrolling in a NYADA mime class, though the report did not specify which characters.

Glee season 5 returns for its midseason premiere on Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. on Fox.
