Since Harley Quinn made a brief appearance in the latest episode of season 2 of Arrow, speculation's running rife that the Batman villain will be making a more impactful comeback.

In Suicide Squad viewers didn't quite get to see Quinn's face and all that was accesible was her voice. The character was voiced by Teenage Titans star Tara Strong. While people were still unsure if that was the great Quinn herself, as the character was described as the "deranged squad female" executive producer Marc Guggenheim confirmed that it was the Batman villain indeed.

One of the show's writers, Keto Shimizu also tweeted about Strong playing Quinn:

"Me and the delightful @tarastrong when she came in to do the voice of #HarleyQuinn. #Arrow #SuicideSquad," she tweeted.

According to reports Quinn might return to the show, but there is no telling if she will be portrayed by Strong.

Here's the official synopsis for the next episode, Birds of Prey:

"When the Huntress met the Canary - When Frank Bertinelli (guest star Jeffrey Nordling) is arrested, Oliver (Stephen Amell) knows it's only a matter of time before his daughter, Helena, AKA The Huntress (guest star Jessica De Gouw), returns to town. To make matters worse, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) is picked to try Frank's case, putting her right in the path of Helena. Oliver tells Sara (Caity Lotz) he will handle his ex-girlfriend, but when Helena takes hostages at the courthouse, including Laurel, the Canary will stop at nothing to save her sister. When The Huntress and Canary meet, an epic battle begins. Meanwhile, Roy (Colton Haynes) realizes he needs to keep Thea (Willa Holland) safe, but doesn't like the way he is forced to go about it. John Behring directed the episode written by Mark Bemesderfer & A.C. Bradley."

Birds of Prey will air on March 26 at 8 p.m. on the CW.
