Lea Michele is the latest actor rumored to be guest starring on Sons of Anarchy in its final season.

Sons of Anarchy exec producer Paris Barclay recently tweeted to the show's creator Kurt Sutter about getting Michele on the show for season 7.

"Lea Michele at the 2014 Kids' Choice Awards," he tweeted Saturday with a photo. "@popcrush @msleamichele Yo, @sutterink! She ready for CHARMING, or what?"

Nero, Barosky, Patterson Returning for Final Episodes?

This caused Sutter to respond, "Smoking hot. All class. Charming could use a p--- upgrade. And count on me to keep us in the gutter."

Though Sutter's response was slightly crass, it does bring up the point that there are very few women left on the show. After the shocking death of Tara (Maggie Siff) in the season 6 finale, the only female character left in the main cast going into season 7 is Gemma (Katey Sagal).

While Michele's Broadway sensibilities would likely be ill-suited for the rough-and-tumble life of Charming, it could be a way for the actress to break out with a side fans have never seen from her before.

Rumblings of Michele's potential casting comes weeks after news that Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul could be headed to Sons of Anarchy in its final season. Sutter was asked on Twitter about which actor he would want to cast in the final season of the motorcycle drama and he responded with Paul.

This potential casting led to several headlines, causing Paul himself to get involved and tweet to Sutter, "Wait a minute...is that not true??? I was getting really excited about making some serious stuff happen. Ps. I love you."

Sons of Anarchy season 7 premieres in fall 2014 on FX, though the network has not yet scheduled a specific air date.
