It looks like Jax (Charlie Hunnam) is going to be fighting another character in the upcoming final season of Sons of Anarchy, and it may be brutal.

Jax Might Be Facing Death When Sons of Anarchy Returns

Hunnam was spotted in character as Jax on the set of Sons of Anarchy this week and by the looks of it, the series' main character is set to fight Nero (Jimmy Smits) in the show's final season.

The photos, via DailyMail, feature Hunnam getting into a physical altercation with Smits. There are also some photos of Hunnam's stunt double looking like he is demonstrating how Hunnam should play the scene.

Some of Jax's fellow SAMCRO members like Bobby Elvis (Mark Boone) and Tig (Kim Coates) are seen in one photo looking like they are trying to stop the fight.

The final season of Sons of Anarchy is set to have some intriguing new guest stars. Shock rocker Marilyn Manson is set to guest star as Ron Tully, a white supremacist who helps Jax expand his power base.

Rocker Courtney Love is also slated to guest star in the final season as Mrs. Harrison, a preschool teacher to Abel, Jax and Wendy's (Drea de Matteo) son. It is suggested that Mrs. Harrison may get into conflict with Wendy.

Sons of Anarchy Season 7 premieres in the fall on FX, though the network has not yet made an official announcement on when it will return. It will likely return in September, based on previous seasons' return dates.
